BMW, Mercedes and Audi Specialist in Perth

If you drive a BMW, a Mercedes-Benz or an Audi in Perth, you have two real choices. The dealer, or a workshop that knows the car as well as the dealer does and will explain what it found.

Prime Euro Services is the second one. We are an independent workshop in Ellenbrook, and European cars are what we do all day. Our licence is MRB8069.

Why German cars need a workshop that knows them

German cars are built tight. Parts are packed in close, systems talk to each other constantly, and a lot of jobs do not finish when the new part is bolted on. They finish when the car is told the new part is there.

Two examples from our own workshop. When we replaced the electric handbrake module on a 2013 BMW X6, the new module had to be coded to the car before the handbrake would release. When we replaced the electric thermostat on a Mercedes C200, it had to be calibrated afterwards so it read engine temperature correctly. A workshop without the right software cannot finish either job.

BMW

We handle everything from a brand new car's first service to a tow-in with two faults at once.

Mercedes-Benz

We have also written about what to look for in a Mercedes-Benz mechanic if you are still deciding.

Audi

Audi shares a lot of its engineering with Volkswagen, so the same tools and the same knowledge cover both.

Volkswagen and Porsche as well

Logbook servicing and your warranty

If your car is still inside its new car warranty, the logbook has to be kept up to date. We do that work.

On the BMW M550i first service we used warranty-approved parts and followed BMW's own procedures. That is the standard for every car under warranty that comes through here.

A complete service history is worth more than the warranty too. It protects your resale value, and the inspection that comes with each service catches small faults before they turn into big ones. On the Mercedes A180 and the Toyota Corolla, the logbook service came with a diagnostic health check at the same time.

The parts we use

Genuine or high quality, depending on the job and what suits you. On the Golf PCV valve we fitted a genuine Volkswagen part. On the Audi S3 we used a genuine tailshaft donut. On the Mercedes GLC brakes we used parts that meet or exceed OEM standards.

We will tell you the difference and what it means for your car before we start, not after.

Questions we get asked

Can you code and program modules like the dealer?

Yes. The replacement handbrake module on the BMW X6 was coded to the car before it would work. The new electric thermostat on the Mercedes C200 was calibrated after fitting. Both jobs are on this page with the full write-up.

Will servicing here affect my new car warranty?

What we can say is that we service to the manufacturer's schedule and we use warranty-approved parts.

Do you work on Porsche and Volkswagen too?

Yes. A Porsche Cayman 987S, a Porsche Macan GTS and two VW Golf R MK7 jobs are all written up on this page, and they are all linked above.

What about older German cars?

The BMW X6 on this page is a 2013. We are not only interested in new cars.
