Prime Euro Services is a European car workshop at 3/37 The Broadway, Ellenbrook. We service and repair Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Volkswagen and Volvo, plus plenty of other cars. We are a licensed WA motor vehicle repair business, licence MRB8069, and we are locally owned.

What a European car service covers here

A service is not just an oil change. It is the best chance to find the small thing before it becomes the big thing.

A scheduled service covers what your car's own schedule calls for. Oil and filters. Fluids. Brakes, tyres and suspension. A proper look underneath. We can also run a diagnostic scan, because faults often show up as a stored code long before you feel anything.

Two real examples.

A Volvo XC90 came in for a routine scheduled service. Nothing looked wrong. The inspection found a leaking coolant hose, which left alone ends in overheating. We replaced it and flushed the coolant. The rear pads and rotors also measured too low to reach the next service, so we did those too.

A Mercedes GLC came in for its logbook service and was due for rear pads and rotors. We did the lot in one visit.

We tell you what we found

You get told what we found, what it means, and what it costs, in plain words. We quote before we start. If something is worn but still safe, we will say so. We do not overservice.

Repairs and diagnostics

Servicing is half of what we do. The other half is finding faults on cars that other workshops would rather not touch.

• Overheating and cooling. A 2017 Mercedes-Benz C200 arrived overheating. We found a failed electric water pump and an electric thermostat throwing fault codes. Both replaced, coolant flushed, new thermostat calibrated.
• Coolant leaks. A Porsche Macan GTS had a leak we traced with a coolant pressure test. It was a pipe sitting under the intake manifold, a horrible spot to reach. We replaced it and flushed the system.
• Electrical faults. A 2013 BMW X6 was towed in with a stuck electric handbrake and a rough running engine. Two separate faults. We replaced and recoded the handbrake module, then replaced a faulty number 6 injector.
• Engine breathing. A VW Golf MK7 R needed a PCV valve. We fitted a genuine Volkswagen part.
• Heating and air con. Another Golf R MK7 was leaking coolant inside the cabin, behind the dash. That is a heater core, and it is not one to put off. Coolant vapour inside the car is not something you want to breathe.

Coding and calibration

On a modern European car, a lot of parts cannot just be bolted on. They have to be coded or calibrated to that car before they work. The X6 handbrake module had to be recoded. The C200 thermostat had to be calibrated after fitting. Having the tools and training for that is a big part of why these cars end up here.

Common questions

How often does my European car need a service?

Your logbook sets it, and it changes from make to make. Most are due on time or on kilometres, whichever comes first. Check the book, or call us with your rego and we will look it up.

Do I have to go to the dealer to keep my warranty?

No. Under Australian Consumer Law, a car maker cannot void your new car warranty just because an independent workshop did the service. The service has to be done on schedule, with the correct parts, and written up properly. We explain this in full on our logbook servicing page.
